Insurance covering cooling vests??

I do not qualify for the cooling vest through the MS organization. Has anyone filed for health insurance to cover the cost?

It may fall under "durable medical equipment", but the only way to know for sure is to call the number on the back of the insurance card.

I'd also call your chapter of the National MS Society, explain your situation, and see what they have to offer. I know, too, that Vocational Rehab may be willing to help as you are still working and need this assistance to continue to do so. The MS Society should have the number for the voc rehab in your area.
