Telescopic Channel ramp question

I'm looking at telescopic channel ramps - I'd like one with adjustable locks.

Any recommendations or experiences with channel ramps or other alternatives to enable wheelchair accessibility in a split level home ?

To rise up even 5 steps would take about a 20 foot ramp, not feasible in most houses.
