A while back, 5 or 6 months ago I think, there was a thread talking about canes and people were recommending different designer canes and various tips. There was one tip that was a long rectangle that made the cane self standing and in the event that it did fall all you had to do was step on the end and it would stand back up for you.
I don't really need the extra stability of a quad cane and there are some tight spaces in my home so I don't want to get one like that yet. I constantly knock my cane over. Several of my falls have been the result of trying to pick it up. I couldn't find that tip in my search of this site or the internet so I am hoping someone knows it. Thanks.
