I got my new Foot Smart Catalog today. As I was scanning through it looking at all their neat shoes I found a pair of booties or socks that have pockets for gel packs which you chill and then insert in the pockets.
I'm thinking this might be a good way for me to soothe my itching foot, particularly when it's at it's most intense which is at night.
They are only $19.95 which is not bad. Right now I use one of the cool packs which comes in my styrofoam cooler that my copaxone is delivered in. They freeze well and you can use them many times.
However, they work best if wrap them in a towel and then place your foot on them, so since my itch is at its worst at night...I have to sit up to use one.
I'll report on how it works in case anyone here has need of something like this.
