A mother is…
The one who’s there
Whether it’s a dream
Or a nightmare
A mother is…
The tender touch
Like a loving hug
That means so much
A mother is…
There from your birth
To nurture and care
For all it’s worth
A mother is…
The one who lends an ear
A shoulder to lean on
And who’ll wipe away the tears
A mother is…
The one who’ll give
Her unconditional love
For as long as you live
A mother is…
There for every bump and bruise
To give you support
If you win or lose
A mother is…
A gift from up above
God’s own vessel
For passing on his love
