Am I crazy or do I hear "music" sometimes?

If you are crazy, then so am I. I hear music sometimes too. Only in my right ear though.

I told my neurologist about it and he sent me to an ear/nose/throat specialist. Nothing was wrong with my hearing. So, I assume that it is the ms.

        can't believe it

I can't believe you asked that! I have searched the house to see which kid left a radio or tv on. I have even gone all the way to the garage thinking my husband left something playing.

Let us know what the infusion nurse says, but I feel better already knowing I am not the only one.

I would wake up to the sound of a radio station playing. Couldn't really make out the words, but it really sounded like my radio...The only thing is the radio alarm doesn't go off till 5am...I was waking up at 2am....Really was driving me nuts...The hubby thought I was nuts. LOL Never a dull moment......I also have constant wooshing in my left ear....

As long as it's not heavy metal, than you're okay.

Yes! I hear things too. Not voices, but really quiet music or like the television is on somewhere. Sometimes it really freaks me out, lol. I have a ton of ear issues, though, my sensitivity to sound is ridiculous.

I don't hear music, but sometimes I think I can hear people talking even when there's no one else around. I can't make out what their saying, but it really bugs me at night. I leave the tv on really low at night. That way when I hear something I can just tell myself it's the tv. I know it's not, but it makes me feel better and makes it easier to fall asleep.

                    Music in my head.

I don't remember when it started but my dentist and I joked about it for years. Finally he told me that I had a large gold filling in a molar. He said that over years noble metals like gold would interact with the tooth creating a type of transistor.

He took the filling out and re ground the contact and put the filling back in. That was four years ago and there has been nothing but silence. I almost miss it.

And here all along I thought I was crazy. LOL I wake up to music sometimes when there's none. It actually kind of feels peaceful and settling to me, actually.

That sounds like a weird science fiction story, lol. Interesting though. I wonder if I have a plate in my head I didn't know about. I can't afford the fancy gold, transistor fillings.

It never ceases to amaze me that I can read through the topics here on any given day and say " Me too! Me too!"

I also hear music, or a radio, or a tv or low discernable conversation. I can't make it out. It sounds muffled, like a a tv left on in a back room.

I have told my Docs about it.
At first they thought I may be having a type of partial seizure. But after doing some internet research, I think it may be a form of tinnitus. And Yes, it can and does occur with MS. ( according to what I read.)

I read that benzodiazepines can help treat it, so since I have a prescription for xanax, I did use it and it does help it. ( for me.)

I particularly notice it when I have had very poor sleep or am in a bit of a flare.

( correction: that was suppose to read non-discernible)

Anyway, if you want to do research I suggest "tinnitus" , "phantom ear sounds" and "musical ear syndrome"

                              music and talking

I often wake up to the sound of voices (like a tv in the other room). Sometimes I think the radio is on, but it's not. I don't have gold in my teeth. My dh has tinitus and it is entirely different than this.
