Asking myself, what came first the depression or the worsening sx?

Cannot figure out if staying in the house cause of the bitter cold and getting derpessed has caused my worsening sx, or if my worsening sx are causing my depression.

Either way, I hope to get out of this funk soon.

I get the winter blaws too! I think part of this is the long dark nights and no sun. Today has turned sunny here and I am in a much better mood now.

It's like the question which came first the chicken or the egg? Personally I feel that depression is a byproduct of having a life altering disease.
