    Poll Diabetics w/MS on MSworld?

    A couple recent post
    got me to and wondering.

How many MSers on here also deal daily with DIABETES?

If you (or here on behalf of) have BOTH DIABETES and MS please post a SINGLE short repsonse, to get a COUNT of how many on here get to double dip in the AI pool for diabetes and MS. That way I can use the reply count.

If you have a question or issue, please start a seperate thread.....

    Thanks......

    Hi Gomer,

Do you want people to specify which type of diabetes they have?

I have Type 2 (in addition to MS).

Yes PLEASE include you diabetes TYPE label, if known.

Sequoia....... I am GLAD you noted your diabetes type. Keep in mind some diabetics get labeled as type-2 and later discovered they are type-1 or autoimmune LADA etc.

Since I had not yet responded to be counted here is my response. I am also diabetic, but my type has come into question several times.

Now we can maybe get a good count of how many MSers here also have diabetes. We are off to a good start.

Type II. I began a vegan diet this past August after stopping Copaxone since it wasn't working for me,(2 relapses within 9 months) and I wasn't willing to try another DMD. I am now off all diabetes meds because my blood sugar is completely under control!

                              Me too

A little late, but I have Type II - they think from both family AND massive amounts of steroids beginning at age 8 through now (46).
