Alert for Copaxone users

I quickly scanned the posts here and did not notice anything regarding the Alert from Shared Solutions refering to a recall of the pads that come with our Copaxone.

They have been recalled due to contamination. The ones we get with our Copaxone are made by Triad. They are the ones you SHOULD NOT use.

Shared Solutions suggested using the type you purchase in stores (not Triad brand) and also you can use sterile gauze pads with isopropyl alcohol.

I'm sure you can goodle this or go to the Shared Solutions site.

DianeD, Thanks for posting the alert. I just checked and sure enough, those are the pads that are in my Copaxone kit. Thanks again for the alert!

Yeah they are the same pads that Betaseron was using. RRR!

Never use them! I take mine to work and we use them for computer repairs and cleaning iPad screens.

I guess I'm not germ-a-phobic since I never alcohol wipe
