Insurance for those with out insurance

    Hello
    Welcome to 2011 and Obamacare!
Please investgate http://www.healthcare.gov/index.html if you do not have health insurance. The US is not perfect and we are not socialized however THERE are options.

    Please Research!

    Thanks

I just checked on the pre-existing insurance coverage for my state. You can get it if you have MS, but it runs from $626-842 per month, the deductible ranges from $1000-3000 and you still have a copay for appointments and drugs. The good news is the out of pocket per year is around $6000...but that doesn't count premiums.

So by my estimation, for an MS patient it could cost around $13,000 per year not counting co-pays. Not exactly affordable, but if you have the money better than nothing. If you don't have the money...the same as nothing.
