    medical insurance transition?

My husband is planning to retire from GM, after 32 years. I am wondering if any other MS patient has gone from an active hourly workers Blue Cross to the retiree plan?

Because I am on disability and eligible for Medicare, I am wondering if I would have to go on Medicare or will I be carried on my husband's retiree policy.

Any feedback on the retiree insurance wiould be helpful.

My medicines, if I had to pay for them, are $55,000 per year. I am worried, but he wants to retire.

    Thank you in advance.

The best advice I can give is to contact the retiree insurance company. They are the ones making the decisions. What I say or what someone else says means nothing to the insurance company.

When my dad retired my mom lost her coverage until she turned 65 and could get Medicare. Same insurance company but different employer.
