I am looking forward (Sept 23rd) to #4 infusion w/ TY

    Hi!
In the past I've been on Avonex 5 yrs and Copaxone 1r. I only ever had a "side effect" from Copaxone 1 time. Chest tightness. Never napped again w/ that drug. But, now I've experienced that same tightness 2 times w/ Tysabri. Is this a "side effect: w/ Tysabri?
    TIA for your help

When did you have this tightness--during the infusion or after the infusion. If it was during the infusion did you tell your Tysabri Nurse? If it was after the infusion, did you tell your tysabri nurse before the next infusion or call the neuro about the side affect?.

I read an 'infusion reaction' is a reaction that occurs during the infusion or within the next two hours. After that it becomes a side affect. I have read a couple of post from people who had an infusion reaction as you describe and they were taken off Tysabri. jUST FROM POSTS i READ.

Link to Drugs.com which has the side affects noted in trial, Tysabri side affects(or has links to it), Medifact consumer leaflet, breast feeding while on Tysabri, consumer overview, advanced consumer overview, prescribing info for professionals---quite a few things I saw in there.
