I have been taking Fosamax for just over 5 years and have had severe pain in my legs and hips over the past year. Have always thought this pain was due to MS and my immobility over the past year.
I periodically here news reports about rare cases of Fosamax users getting problems with their jaws and most recently with throat cancer.
Doctors have always told me Fosamax is a good drug and is important for me due to osteroposis/pina and MS condition to avoid fractures.
I thought I should stop for a bit and did a few months ago for approx 1 month without feeling much different so I went back on it.
I just googled and read that it can take months to get out of your system once you stop and that thigh/leg pain can be an good indicator of a problem.
Has anyone taken Fosamax and found any link to what they thought was an MS symptom and turned out to be from Fosamax ?
