    A SILLY QUESTION...PERHAPS

A little while ago when I returned to log into MSWORLD...the font size has changed for me. It's very small now.

When I was in 'chat' another member pointed out the 3 A's there and suggested I hit the A to the far left. I did....nothing changed.

Even the arcade section is showing up smaller than usual.

    Help!

    It's straining my eyes...*forced boo-hooing*

Seriously...it there a way to change the font size in the forums section and the arcade section back to the larger
    size?

    Hi Anomalie

I'm not sure how to advise you - so when in doubt, contact Tech Support!

You can reach the Tech Support Team by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and choosing the technical support option.

Meanwhile, I'll try to find something out about the font sizes.

    Take care,

          Dear NOT silly...........

There are several things you CAN DO!

-1- Bar/line-3 across the top of your Internet Explorer window, (if using Microsoft Internet Explorer) is a line that reads, [FILE EDIT VIEW FAVORITES - - -] CLICK on [VIEW] A drop-down list of options should appear. Select/click on [Test Size] A drop-down list of Largest, larger, Medium, smaller, and smallest, click on desired size.

-2- If you are using Internet Explorer-7 or newer; Look toward the lower right corner of you IE window. It normally shows 100%.

There are 2 ways to change the ZOOM setting, one is a down-arrow, clicking on that will bring up a ZOOM list, there you will find option of 50% tiny to a whopping 400%. You can also click on [custom] and type in most ANY ZOOM level you want.

The other way to change ZOOM level is to press and HOLD [CTRL] while moving the mourse wheel to adjsut the ZOOM level. This is also listed at the top of the popup menu list, I mentined in the paragraph above, I use the [ctrl] mouse wheel most myself.

IF you are using an OLDER version of IE, (internet explorer) you can download a newer version with ZOOM. I did that and it was, probably still is FREE at the Microsoft web site.

-3- Yep not done quite yet. I use a rather large 22' 3D display with 1680x 1050 MAX resolution. For web sue I set it at a much lower resolution, 1024x768 for much larger, easier to read text size. If you are using 1024x768 on your current monitor, you could try changing it to say 800x600 for LARGER text size.

          Hope this helps.....

          Doc Gomer

Oooh, thanks Gomer, much better. whoo.

Anomalie, I use Firefox too. It should work the same way.

I use a Macintosh but was able to figure out out by holding ctrl apple and moving mouse in our out.

Try holding control and alt together and pull mouse in and out, see if that works.

Has your font issue been resolved?

I'm wondering if maybe something, somehow, got changed on your computer with the font size? (And maybe not an issue with the MS World Forums or Chat Room?)

In any case, please let us know.

                    Take care,

                      nope not resolved yet...

                      No email response yet...

And it only affects this site...MSWORLD including the arcade section as well.

I use firefox and have Windows XP

I am trying to be really patient about this...I enjoy MS WORLD so much...almost a daily/weekly thing for me...including the arcade.

With the 'font size' change, I can't view anything very long now because of eye strain etc.

I just checked my email again today...
Still no response regarding my 'viewing' issues
                            with MSWORLD.

Still patiently waiting for tech help so I can fully
resume enjoying participating in the benefits of
                            being a member of MSWORLD.
