BG00012 ms therapy?

Hello can anyone tell me about BG00012? my doctor has given me a choice of tysabri or getting in this clinical trial. They will be adding this to the copaxone. had a bad mri yesterday after being on copaxone for the last 2 and 1/2 yrs.

Any experiences?

Hi ~

I don't have any info for you, but I am really interested in this drug! It has been used in Germany for many years now to treat psoriasis. Since I have been blessed with both MS and P, I would love to see it approved...if I could treat two birds with one stone that would be awesome!!!!

Did you end up doing this? Or has anyone else taken BG00012? The EXPLORE trial was just suggested to me in conjunction with my Copaxone.

Had some new lesions on recent mri after being on copax for the past 1 1/2 yrs. Was on avonex for a year before that until new lesions showed up. Other options now are Tysarbi and Gilenia, but I'm a little worried about both.
