Been thru a week of nightly sleep-wake episodes that have worn me way down. I have to take Nuvigil (50mg) first thing in the morning, and it makes me shake and pee and panic--but for over an hour, sometimes 2 hours, it's like I'm still in a daze--not sleepy, but more like a stupor (I have narcolepsy). Nuvigil didn't used to do this--maybe the sleep deprivation, I dunno. . .
So then I take very small amt of Xanax (1/3 of 1/4 mg) to calm the jitters. I'm still on automatic pilot. like I know I'm "awake" but not all the lights are on.
Afternoons I've started back on Wellbutrin (1/2 of 75 mg) per my PCP--she feels it's the ptsd as well. But how do I wake up, for real?
