    Hi

Is anyone else on both lyrica and neurontin at the same time?

Hi Ruby, I was on Lyrica-my co-pay got too high so I switched to Gabapentin (generic Neurontin). I cannot imagine being on both as they are both for nerve pain.

When I told my doctor I wanted to increase the dosage of lyrica he suggested adding neurontin. He said that some of his patients do better on both.

          thanks...

if I had a choice between the two I'd pick lyrica... I was on Neurontin and my neuro kept raising the dose and it wasnt touching my pain...

he added tegretol and it helped but killed my stomach so I stopped taking it...

I take a a lot less of an amount of lyrica then neurontin and get better results and feel less drugged...

I just wish I could get off the neurontin but he told me no...

          thanx for replys
