    Dealing with new symptom

Woke up during the night, my head was shaking. It won't stop. I feel like I am saying no. I did call my neuro and I have an appt today. Has anyone had this?

    Michelle,
I've never heard of this, but then I am not a Dr. or even one to begin to speculate.
I read your post and thought "Wow", that's really something though!
I am writing down exactly where your post was written, thread # etc. (I am brand new here as of yesterday), and I want to make sure I come back to find out what is causing your head to shake. Please, let me know.

    Good luck today,
    Deb

        Hello Michelle

Hopefully you will come back and let us know how you're doing

I have had small bouts of head tremors, mostly after getting super stiff outside in the winter. It has always stopped after I've thawed out.

Hope you're doing better today. We're pulling for you

        Take care,

Right now, I am in the hospital. I had a MRI of the brain and spine came out good. Also, had labs, chest x-ray, and eeg which came out good. My neuro put me on a 5-day IV steroid treatment. I am waiting on the last one so I can go home. My family physican and my neuro want me to go see a specialist for a motor/motion disorder. If it isn't one thing, it is something else. Thanks for all the well wishes! I will keep you informed.

Well, I got released from the hospital. Home sweet home! My neuro put me on clonazepam and I have to go for therapy for a month. I also have to go back to the neuro to get the information to see a specialist in Motion/Motor Disorder.

              MICHELLE

              Hello again Michelle!

First off SOOO glad to hear you are home and out of the hospital. Nothing worse than being tied down in the hospital .....
My husband was also put on the Clonazepam, but he was placed on that med for anxiety & stress. John also has had the IV steroid treatments several times and they have always made him feel like "Superman" afterward. Hopefully you are feeling real good with the steroids as well, but I was really in hopes of hearing why it was that your head was shaking. Maybe the Motion/Motor specialist you go and see will be able to answer some of those questions. Again, I'll be waiting to hear what they come up with.
Interestingly enough, Koko says she has had the tremors before as well. But, her's came in the cold months. Had to chuckle when she said they'd go away when she "thawed" - lol.
Glad to hear all your tests came out good - that's good news in itself.
As I had said, this has intrigued me so I am keeping an eye out for updates from you. Please don't forget us.

              *Happy Sunday from Michigan*
              Well Wishes,
              Deb
