    MRI Report - Dawson's Fingers?

Yeah, I know, we shouldn't read the MRI reports

In the past, I know some have commented on their MRI reports and had the wording "Dawson's Fingers" in it.

However, I wonder if what is written in the report my DH has is a description of Dawson's Fingers. It seems that way to me...

"There are bilateral LINEAR type pericallosal areas of FLAIR signal abnormality which are oriented perpendicular to the lateral ventricle."

Given the linear type and the placement that sounds like a Dawson's Finger to me. What says you?

I copied/pasted you description to google and believe it or not your post was the first thing listed. But there were other listings as well. I would suggest you do a google search with the exact description and see what comes up.
