I'm not on shots nor have I ever been. I was diagnosed about 25 years ago. It was never suggested at that time. Were they available? I don't know. I also have only used steroids once and don't plan on that again either.
My neuro (who I have only seen twice in all these years) has not suggested it. In fact, he has never recommended any intervention.
My approach has been to live healthfully. Eat right. Exercise. Sleep. And trust the Lord with all things. I don't go running to the doctor (obviously) nor do I call him. Most things come and go. And IMO we are far better off just living and not taking this illness so seriously.
I know there are situations that do require a more aggressive approach. But I don't think that is what the majority need.
