    Another question for Rich Feingold

    I read something about those receiving disability having their spouse eligible for $25,000. I've been on SSDI since 2000 is this something I would need to check into? Or did I misunderstand? Thank you for any feedback.

      Good snuzzer. You are welcome to share what you found, if you wish. I am not aware of a $25,000 payment, but in some circumstances, family members can be eligible for benefits under a disabled wage earner's account - they are called auxiliary beneficiaries.
