Optic Neuritis question

Hi all!

I was just wondering if ON might possibly cause pain in the temple area.

My vision seems a bit hazy and I have this intermittent pain in my temple (not sure, but may be triggered by eye movement?). My ON in the past has not ever really included pain, only hazy vision, so I dunno... Just trying to decide if it's worth a call to the eye dr. Thank you for any help!

ON can cause pain. Now weather or not your pain in your temple is caused by your ON, I don't know. But, pain is a very real symptom of ON.

It could be ON or it could just be eye strain.
We'd need a lot more info, so I'd definatly check in with your eye doc. You just may need a pair of glasses.

Thank you for the replies! I will make an appointment with the eye dr. tomorrow, especially because now my actual eye hurts too. Thanks again for the info!
