The Doctor never told me exactly what kind I was having...or what the technical name for them was.
They were very light seizures almost like i was just daydreaming.
I could feel it coming like a knot in my stomach rising then my head would turn to the right side, always the right side, and objects I was looking at would almost be pulsating very slowly and I would have jerks and twitches in my left arm and hand.
After I would be exhausted and they never last for more than maybe 2 minutes.
I don't know why he put me on that med. Especially when he said I wasn't having seizures.

Valeriem2220, these doctors you describe sound like they are not Nice People. As in any other human relationship, you need to find a doctor you can work well with, or how else will you get treatment and feel better?

I won't slam all family doctors because they are not neurologists. It was my own family doctor who diagnosed me, and then it turned out the "MS specialist" he sent me to, who had a good reputation, was not a good neurologist at all. He missed the brain tumor that was clearly visible on the MRI!

However, the general neurologist I saw (while I was waiting 5 months to see the incompetent "MS specialist") was excellent, the best neuro I'd seen until I found my current MS specialist.

I hope you can find some doctors to work with that are a better match for you.
