I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I don't have words to express how sorry I am. I hope that your family can find the strength to get through this terrible time and help his brother to health, I will be thinking good, healing thoughts for him.

As for the drunk driver, my thoughts for her are not so nice. I hope she goes to jail for the rest of her miserable life and suffers every single day.

I am keeping your family and you in my thoughts, I am, again - so sorry.

          Update

My nephew Caleb was upgraded this morning to serious and ny tonight they have him trying to use a machine to exercise his lungs and get his strength back up, he can do half of the exercise but has trouble on the other. He ended up with 9 broken ribs.

We were told the lady is facing life in prison so she must have priors and fall under our new super drunk law with enhanced sentenceing. We were also tols she is fighting it saying she did'nt run the stop sign and had right of way, I wonder how she plans to explain how she t boned a van hard enough to drive it off the road onto its roof.

She also has kids of her own, wonder how she would feel if it were the other way around.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers, kind thoughts and words of hope, this is a difficult time for everyone and the one news channel has been relentless in their efforts to talk to the family who just want time to heal. My FIL lives 50 miles away and they showed up at his house and he had to run them off.

Why can't people be like us and just wish everyone well

Thank you once again for all your prayers and thoughts as I will pass them on.
          Dave

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I can't not understand why people who drink can't stay out of an automobile. I will be praying for you and your family. And for Caleb, may God heal this child.

              GREAT NEWS!!

Dave, that's certainly terrific news! Hope Caleb continues to improve. Will keep sending prayers and good wishes for all.

I am going to tell this story to my son who is a police detective. Don't know if he has heard of Mi new drunk driving law or not.

(((hugs))) to all your family! Casino

Glad to hear that there has been some improvements for Caleb, AND that the woman is looking at some significant punishment.

Will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear about this tragedy. My prayers are that God will give you and your family comfort and peace in the days to come. I can not even imagine how difficult this will be especially for you. It sometimes seems that the relapses come when we are under enormous stress and when we want out bodies to work so we can be of help to others. My prayers will continue. Thank you for giving us the honor to pray for you and your family.
