Someone please explain??

I am in limbo (have been for a year and a half)and have had a few MRI's, both with and without contrast. The report of the latest one (With contrast) states I have 2 T2 hyperintense lesions. Can someone tell what the T2 and hyperintense parts mean?? all i see are white circles.
