Is it possible to have a flare, get steroids to calm down the flare, and then about one month later you think you are getting another flare Please tell me this is not happening again!

Sure is possible! I will have a flare-up, be doing better for a couple weeks then have another flare-up. It's frustrating and takes a toll emotionally, but we have to deal with it and be sure to let our doctor know how often the flares are coming.

It could be that the original flare-up is not over yet. Steroids are supposed to calm it down, but that doesn't mean they will stop it.
