Tommorrow marks the anniv of my husband's death.

I love the fireworks, too! They are so cheerful.

Jan, I am so sorry to know that tomorrow marks the anniversary of your husband's death. My mother's mother died on July 4 when I was 15. The day always brings mixed emotions for me, too. Fortunately, one of my nieces was born on July 3 and just celebrated her Sweet 16 birthday. Life is like that most of the time--a mix of joy and sorrow.

I hope that you have wonderful memories of Independence Days shared with your husband! We couldn't ask for a more beautiful day here in 'Sconsin, but my body aches too much to watch the local parade. Maybe next year! All things considered, I feel very blessed.
