What to do

Could anybody offer advice on how to talk with my Neuro about pain. I have consistent arm pain in both arms 24/7 due to a large lesion on my spine. I have already been to two specialists about this, the last one stating that no one has ever died from chronic pain. The pain specialist I met with wants to put a device in that would electrically shock me every once in awhile. I am at a loss for how to describe the amount of pain I am in effectively. This constant pain interferes wih every aspect of my life.

I have my PCP manage all of my pain needs and meds, I think he would be quicker to get into see and he also probally knows what the rest of your meds are. Your PCP can also write the script to go to a pain clinic and let them manage your pain for you as they are specialist in that field. I'm not sure a neuro would be comfortable in pain management
