Shortness of breath
Is shortness of breath also MS related? I'm only a 46years old, a 150lb, 5'-10'', Male. I still walk (off balance & slow now) but when ever I walk up two or more flights of stairs, I have a hard time breathing.
I had broncitis 15 years ago ( plus I think that activated my MS, because about 6 months after that), it was then I had my 1st MS symptom,Andy

Maybe some of your meds doing that? When I first started Copaxone I had similar issues, they were mostly psychosomatic problems after I had an IPIR I had trouble breathing for about 2 weeks. They put me on tranquilizers/antidepressants and it slowly went away. I was so scared of getting one more reaction like that that I anticipated my shot going wrong every night. I took a brief Copaxone vacation and gradually came back on to every day. No issues since.RRMS Diagnosed December 2009,

MS can have an effect on respiratory function: http://ms.about.com/od/signssymptoms...ratory_gen.htm
However, it's easy to fall into the trap of chalking many of our health issues up to MS. It's better to be safe than sorry and address it with your doctor.

I'd visit a doc. I'm 60 @ about your height & weight, taking C and in pretty good shape too.
I have no problems with endurance (although reps with weights at gym have at times caused spasticity). No cardio work causes me to be out of breath.
