    Exercise check in 9/26/2019

    4 checked in this last week.

    1 met goal.
    1 did some exercising.
    1 made modified goal.
    1 made partial goals.

    We're all working on it. You guys are awesome. Checking in here weekly helps to keep me motivated. Thanks for being here!

    For new Exercisers:
    Feel free to join us. You set your own goals. You can keep the same goals week-to-week, or modify them. You decide if you accomplished them. Check in once a week to let us know how you did last week, and to set goals for the following week

    Made goals

    Thurs - 1626 steps; PT
    Fri - 1754 steps; Chair Yoga, Strong Seniors
    Sat - 3012 steps; Recumbent bike
    Sun - 1887 steps;
    Mon - 1473 steps;
    Tues - 2335 steps; Silver Sneakers
    Wed - 1711 steps; Chair yoga, Strong Seniors

    Total steps = 13,798 steps. Average: 1971 steps per day
    Total exercise = 7x

    I'm going to say that I made goals. We have the freedom to decide if we met them or not. I encourage others to use that freedom, too, when you feel good about your exercise week, even if you didn't meet goals "as stated".

    Although I was slightly under my goal of average 2000 steps per day, I was really close and I more than met my exercise goal of 4 activities per week. Some days, I've been doing more than one.

    Goals:
    1. Average of 2,000 steps per day.
    2. Exercise at least 4 times out of 7 days. Silver Sneakers, recumbent bike at Wellness Center or Senior Center (chair yoga and strong seniors), PT, YouTube chair exercises or something else.
    3. Include some strength training on some of my exercise days (could be PT).

        Nice job Mamabug.

        My goals were:

        2 nights of Jiu Jitsu..... I only mad one
        3 Weight training sessions......only missed by 3
        3 3 mile road runs...... just made one but it was 5.5 miles

        I could have done better, just got lazy. Getting ready for cooler weather which is a lot better for running than Mississippi summers.

          Boudreaux ~ You were able to accomplish one Jiu Jitsu and one 5.5 mile run, so for those accomplishments!

          Cooler weather will be most welcome!

              Wonderful job everyone!

              I was able to exceed my goal of 3 days to 4.

              Babysat two mornings - 3 hours each
              In the garden on 2 dry and sunny days spending 2 hours each on weeding, harvesting and cleaning up beds.

              Due to chronic back problems and overall weakness, I started PT -had only 1 assessment, but plan to work on exercises and have more appts and exercises in the weeks to come!
