So the painter wanted to start yesterday, rather than this coming Monday. We crazily said yes, thinking that maybe we would then be able to get the house together before our trip and come home from our trip with a lot less to do.

Monday late morning, I get a call that my husband is in ER in the city. He had blurred vision, headache, and numbness/tingling in face, neck, and arm. So concern was stroke. Thankfully, not and his heart checked out ok as well. Since his vitals ok and blood work ok, they think possibly occular migraine. So follow up with neuro. He was better Tuesday. We both forgot that his car was at work, so I had to drive him in. Really hectic two days.

Painters started and house is a mess. Finished sanding today. Can't wait til finished.

wow! You certainly didn't need another thing happening, but so glad your husband is OK!

Sounds like you could use a break and I hope it happens soon enough for you. It will be so wonderful to have your house painted - try to focus on that! Take care and for now, go with the "messy" flow~~

Thanks Seasha. Our house is still a mess. So rather than being confined to the bedroom and kitchen for a weekend, my husband said let's go to the mountains for the weekend. So I am totally relaxing now and it feels awesome.

Hope everyone has a great weekend,!

Great! MS Neurologist in Bala Cynwyd! Dr David Tabby

Pennstater...I think I remember you as Kathy! I have not really looked at this web-site for a long time but I do remember some of the folks. Jazzgirl being the best! I did read your post about your latest unexpected challenges. I will keep this short but checkout Dr David Tabby ...He is the best. He was Hahnemann's MS Specialist under Dr Robert Schwartzman for a long time and now is on his own. Optimum Neurology on City Line Bala Cynwyd if you are still in this area. He is the Greatest Neurologist out there. He is a great guy who listens...I would not respond if I didn't feel really good about him. LTD paperwork and stuff like that is a non-issue he just takes care of it with a smile. Honestly give him a call!

My neuro moved and sold his practice. I thought I would have him for 15 more years, but not to be. I have an appointment in late May with new Neuro, and will give it a shot. Reviews are mixed on him. So what comes yesterday and today in the mail? Both my employer and private LTD policies requiring 5 year physician update forms.😱. I just hate that neuro who will have seen me once will be filling these forms out.

Then, neuro's infusion center called and said my next Tysabri infusion needs to be rescheduled, as he is out that week. I had scheduled for the week before our two week vacation so I would be in the best shape for the trip. Thankfully I can get it 2 weeks before the trip, but now the last week of vacation will be a challenge. I get really fatigued the week before my infusion.

And just a busy time. Our washer died a few weeks ago and have been arguing with warranty.

We have Easter brunch and Easter Egg hunt Sunday. So getting ready for 22 adults, 2 teens, and 4 toddlers.

The week after Easter, have to pack up the living room, dining room, foyer, and hall, as the painters start the following week. So all the lamps, dishes, china, pictures, etc... Was supposed to be a few weeks ago, but painter behind schedule. Good stuff, but stressing.

We also unexpectedly took receipt of my late Mom's piano Tuesday, after prepping and carpet cleaning Monday. My niece had it, but they were moving and last minute, weren't taking it. So rearrange the furniture, etc...I also didn't expect the reaction I had to the piano after the movers left. Blindsided by memories. Mom left us 5 years ago, Dad 4. So many good memories came racing back, followed then by grief.

I am kicked. Most of it, I am grateful for, but it is still stressful. I am grateful to have good family memories and a family that still spends holidays together. Grateful to have a vacation coming up, and coming back to freshly painted living areas with clean carpets and hardwoods. Grateful to get my infusion. Even grateful that neuro sold practice to someone who has an established practice. But oh so tired.

Thanks for letting me babble on...

Faith and Reg53 - thanks! It was nice to escape. Had my infusion Tuesday and painters finished yesterday. So hopefully soon, will have the dust from sanding cleared. They were pretty good, but sanding dust still gets under plastic and tarps. Can't wait until all done.

Hey Bob/FlyerFan. It has been a long time. Thanks for the referral. I will keep in mind. I had an appointment with the nurse practitioner Tuesday. She was really nice and thorough. My 1st appointment with neuro is early July. A few people at the infusion center have seen him and liked him. So I will give it a shot - easy continuity with records and infusions. Hope you are doing well. Good to see you on the board and hope you stick around!
