    Urinary hesitatency in women.

Are there any new drugs available for urinary hesitatency in females. My wife has been on uroxatral for 17 years and it has helped but her urologist says for most people the effectiveness of the drug dimishes over time. He didn’t offer any suggestions for a replacement at this time.

    Thank you.

I don't have an answer to your question; sorry. My problem tends to be the opposite -- urinary frequency. Perhaps someone else will come along soon that has had a similar experience.

    Symptoms began in JAN02
    - Dx with RRMS in OCT03, following 21 months of limbo, ruling out lots of other dx, and some "probable stroke" and "probable CNS" dx for awhile.
    - In 2008, I was back in limbo briefly, then re-dx w/ MS: JUL08
    .

    - Betaseron NOV03-AUG08; Copaxone20 SEPT08-APR15; Copaxone40 APR15-present
    - Began receiving SSDI / LTD NOV08. Not employed. I volunteer in my church and community.
