    Exercise check in 03/07/2019

4 checked in this last week. It could be due to my late post that we have fewer participants this week. My guests are gone; my life is more normal again. I should be more regular again at posting my weekly check-ins.

    GOALS REACHED:
    3 made goals
    GOALS MISSED:
    -
    Other:
    1 made partial goals

    For new Exercisers:
Feel free to join us. You set your own goals. You can keep the same goals week-to-week, or modify them. You decide if you accomplished them. Check in once a week to let us know how you did last week, and to set goals for the following week

    Didn't set goals last week

Thurs - 2718 steps; Pool at YMCA
Fri - 2489 steps; children's museum in Wichita
Sat - 1576 steps; PT at home
    Sun - 1579 steps
    Mon - 1238 steps
    Tues - 1526 steps
Wed - 2571 steps; Chair Yoga at YMCA

Total steps = 13,697 steps. Average: 1957 steps per day
    Total exercise = 4 days

I didn't set goals last week, because my out-of-town guests were still here for about half of the week. I'm reporting, anyways, and I would have come very close to making my goal if i had set one.

I modified my goals, slightly, a few weeks ago, to include strength training.
    Goals:
    1. Average of 2,000 steps per day.
    2. Exercise at least 4 times out of 7 days. Silver Sneakers, recumbent bike at Wellness Center or YMCA, PT, YouTube chair exercises or something else.
    3. Include some strength training on some of my exercise days (could be PT).

I didn't set up goals as I'm still recovering from the cold/cough. I will attempt to set a goal of 3x of some form for this next week.

Hope everyone is doing as best as they can!

        Made Goals

        Hi everyone

I am very grateful that I was able to accomplish my goals last week.

Walking wasn't very smooth, but still, I was up and taking steps.

Daily: Up and doing activities 4X a day @ 30 min each + Stretching
        throughout the day + In-chair ab crunches, 2X a day @ 20 each

5X a week: Walked with rollator 5x during the week @ 30 min each

Wishing everyone good energy, perseverance, and good health!

I've been extremely busy the last few weeks and not really logging my activities like I should. Sorry for not checking in. I'm getting after though...I promise.
