    Exercise check in thread 02/21/2019

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Getting ready for my daughter and her family to arrive tomorrow for a week long visit. So this is just a short post to start the thread.

If anyone wants to comment on last week's successes ... , go at it.

    Made Goals

Thanks Mamabug, I hope you enjoy the time with your daughter’s family!

I made my goals for the week:
    - yoga 7 days (goal 7 days)
    - 9,436 steps avg (goal was low at 6,000 since the weather wasn’t looking good for the week - but it was much better than expected)
    - Ran on Sunday (runs were bonus points this week)

I’ll be traveling for a few days this week so I’ll modify just a bit:
    - 5 days yoga
    - 6500 avg daily steps
    - runs are bonus points

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Latest Goals: 5K steps on at least 6 days a week and keep the average goal of 6K steps/day.

      Thu - 6810 (volunteer work)
      Fri - 8834 (volunteer work)
      Sat - 11450 (volunteer work)
      Sun - 8024 (house work)
Mon - 5798 (dh doctor appointment)
Tue - 5372 (dh doctor appointment)
      Wed - 7371 (media room @ church)

Over 5K steps every day and I averaged 7666 steps/day. I made both goals . Although if it weren't for the volunteer work that I do, I do not believe that I would have made goals. I will keep same goals for this week.

Mamabug - Have a great week with family!

MisterMan - Awesome week ! Keep up the good work.

Hope that everybody had a better than expected week .

Kudos to you MisterMan and msgijo for clearly making your goals

I made my goal although I still can't walk the driveway -it's still very icy!

I babysat twice, cleaned house including vacuuming most of the house and went grocery shopping which in itself was a workout! We stocked up big time and filled 2 carts. My cart was so full it was hard to push. Did yoga during the week too.

Hope to maintain my 4 days at least for next week.
        Keep on moving my friends!

          Made Goals

          Hi everyone

It's great to see that everyone was able to accomplish their exercise goals!

I was able to accomplish goals also.

Daily: Up on feet, doing activities, 4X a day @ 30 min each + Stretching throughout the day + In-chair ab crunches, 20 per day

5X a week: Walked with rollator 5X during the week @ 30 min each

My walking went ok, with one day which was better than usual.

I'm going to increase my ab crunches goal to 20, 2X a day - once early and once later in the day.

Wishing everyone another great exercise week, along with good energy and perseverance!
