    Recent gratitudes

    1. I started seeing a natural health consultant recently. I'm set up for six appointments. I think she'll be a good supplement to my functional medicine doctor.

    2. I met with my small group on Friday.

    3. I enjoyed playing piano with the worship band in church on Sunday.

    4. I had my 6 month MS Specialist appointment on Monday. It went well. A little bit of improvement in walking speed; no declines in other things.

A good day at gym on St. V's Day!

It was upper body day which hasn't been much of a success as of late... Poor right hand grip.

But with PT suggested weight adjustments and rep variations, the grip held up pretty well through most of session. Hooks for what remained so.....

Feeling the pain today but I'm sure most of you can ID a "good" kind of pain being better than feeling nothing at all.

          Gratitudes for Thursday

          1. Had an appointment with my peer counselor. I meet with her, usually, once a month, because it just feels good to visit with her.

          2. Skyped with daughter and grandsons last night. We visit, read books, sing songs, etc.

            1. I'm getting prepared for our upcoming visit 8-day visit from my daughter and her family (they arrive Friday).
            - I have some menu plans.
            - I have a short Kroger grocery list, and a long natural grocers list. Hubby will take care of them.
            - I ordered grocery delivery from Walmart. My son will help me with that on Wednesday.

The weather, although snow is forecasted here for tomorrow, is supposed to be in the 40'sF the whole week they'll be here. A much warmer climate than the -30 /-40C they'll be coming from.

Got ALL my tax material together! No it's not a shoe box.

A real winter mix of snow / sleet / freezing rain / locus / cats etc, got me inspired!

Ready to post the lot of it & crossing fingers the new tax laws are kind to me.

Let's just keep going another week.

I'm feeling busy and overwhelmed getting ready for visitors ; my daughter and her family are coming from Canada.

We had a great weekend trip to the mountains with lots of family.

After yesterday's wind gusts and the electric briefly going out a few times, no damage and we have power!

                    1. I've been sleeping well almost every night.
                    2. I have been able to get my Tysabri infusions much closer to my home; this makes the whole process much easier.
                    3. I found this thread - thank you for starting it!

I'm about halfway through our 9-10 day visit with my daughter's family here.

I'm enjoying visits with her and her husband, time with grandkids (playtime, snuggles, giggles, reading books, babysitting, etc). Also enjoying activities (playground, attending church together, etc).

We hosted hubby's extended family for supper and an evening. My daughter always wants to see everyone. We ordered pizza and I made a large salad so it wasn't a lot of work. Our bungalow was full with 21 people crammed into our LR and DR. I'm a people person, so hosting is something I enjoy if it doesn't involve cooking. We found enough chairs to crowd our two rooms.

Although I am mostly in charge of cooking during the week, my hubby, daughter and son help out with last minute stuff when I tire and do all of the clean up after meals. Son has cooked one meal and plans to cook two more. We ate out for one meal.

We have additional fun plans coming up.

We had a great visit with my daughter and her family. Lots of fun; lots of activities. Time went by very quickly.

I'll start a new gratitude journal thread on Thursday. Until then, keep posting on this one. Thanks for being patient with me being AFK (away from keyboard) during most of the last week and a half.
