          Speaking of friends...

"If you have great relationships, there’s virtually nothing that can defeat you, or even discourage you... Frank Crane once wrote, having a close friend 'doubles every joy and halves every defeat'.”

You wouldn't let this happen to your phone. Don't let it happen to you either. Self care is a priority, not a luxury.

Your body is woven from the light of Heaven. ~ Rumi

"Something very beautiful happens to people when their world has fallen apart: a humility, a nobility, a higher intelligence emerges at just the point when our knees hit the floor. Perhaps, in a way, that's where humanity is now: about to discover we're not as smart as we thought we were, will be forced by life to surrender our attacks and defenses which avail us of nothing, and finally break through into the collective beauty of who we really are" ~ Marianne Williamson

By the water, in the arms of nature, my soul is recharged. Thank you Divine Creator for peaceful places that calm my being and remind me there is always more to life than this body and circumstance. ~ Jody Doty

It was in that riptide of pain, drowning in an ocean of fear and isolation, and going under one last time, that she finally saw her light, prayed to God for a life preserver, grabbed on tight, and swam for the salvation of her soul. ~ Jody Doty

With an open mind I gratefully Let Go of Everything that Isn't serving my purpose any longer and I invite all that there is into my life that makes me expand my awareness and makes me grow. ~ Unknown

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as
difficult as spending our lives running from
it . Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky
but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love
and belonging and joy - the experiences that
make us most vulnerable. Only when we are
brave enough to explore the darkness
                        will we discover the infinite
power of our light” ~ Brene Brown

Let me give up the need to know why things happen as they do. I will never know and constant wondering is constant suffering. ~ Caroline Myss
