    Update on my pt experience

Hello, I just wanted to thank you all! For the encouragement with my pt it has been pretty rough in beginning, but it does seem to get a bit easier. I do feel better, and my mind thinks clearer also.So getting off couch was worth it! Now I just gotta keep going Dave

        Dave --

My MS Specialist always tells me that the one of the best things that I can do to help to delay progression of MS is to exercise.

Keep going with the PT. PT often tends to be mostly strength kinds of training, I think. As you become able, add a little bit of cardio. (I go to Silver Sneakers classes and ride the recumbent bike at the my local wellness center for cardio.)

Also, feel free to join us in our weekly Exercise Check-In thread here in The Wellness Room at MSWorld. We have a great group of encouragers here.

We just set our own weekly goals and report on them. You already have your PT goals. We'd love to have you there.
