.... but suddenly this morning my lower lip started quivering. I have no idea what this new mess could be. Has anyone ever gone thru this one? Doesn't seem to be any other symptoms.... just an annoying quivering across my lower lip.

Guess I should mention that Sam was in the hospital again and came home with oxygen. It's a struggle to make him use it all the time. He takes it off from time to time. And of course, I have more and more responsibilities now and have not taken care of myself at all. Just heard from my MS doctor/friend and she thinks the quivering could be from the MS and the stress.Marti

Hey Marti,
So sorry that your husband had another health issue.
I have the tremor or quiver in the lip. Mine is above
the lip on the left side of my face (the weak side of my
face where I have some atrophy in my face and tongue.
Mine is a cranial nerve issue that has weakened the muscle
and it quivers whenever it wants to, but especially when my mouth is open
for a while, like at the dentist. Other than that, if I try to hold a smile,
or open my mouth too wide, it's very noticeable.
Mine doesn't hurt at all, in fact I wouldn't know it happens
if I wasn't standing in front of a mirror (it happens when I
brush my teeth.) Other people are the ones that have mentioned
the quiver.
I don't think there's anything that can be done about it, if it keeps up
check with your neuro if it becomes a bother.

Thanks so much. I guess there are not too many of us who get this one. I can see it quivering in the mirror and it has come on at different times today. Hope you don't bite your lip!Marti
