Medina89. I agree. I used to think stem cells would be the "cure" for MS, and perhaps one day they will be. However, right now I believe the procedure should be saved for the young, newly diagnosed, and perhaps only those with very aggressive MS. The procedure should also be done in a reputable clinic with verified success.
For the rest of us, there are new drugs appearing every day, and they will help keep our MS at bay. At 66 and with 9 years of MS behind me, I have come to terms that the way I am today is as good as it gets (and it's certainly downhill from here).
