Proctalgia fugax
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has experience with this incredibly painfully muscle spasm of the rectum that wakes you from a sound sleep, and can last up to an hour? Any suggestions for relief?

Wow; I'd never heard of that. Sounds horrible.
The only help I can offer is to google. Here's an article that suggests a few things you can try.

I hope you get some relief.~ Faith

Thank you
for the reply... wishing I never heard of it either. Thankfully, it doesn't happen every day or even every month, but when it happens, it's memorable (a literal pain in the butt)
