Sorry that both of you have dealt with this so long. I would love to help, but not sure what exactly you are going thru. What is/has been going on?

I have heard this condition (alexithymia) is associated with people suffering from traumatic head injuries, abusive childhood and in Parkinson's, but haven't heard much associated with MS. Do you think your husband suffers from this condition?

I did some looking around and found that alexithymia is linked with increased severity of fatigue and depression. Here is an abstract from Research Gate- https://www.researchgate.net/publica...and_depression

You can read the pdf full report via your email or facebook account.

Have you discussed this with your husband's neurologist? That might be the best option at this point.

Best wishes to you and your husband!

        Thank you all!
The article about Emotional Blindness in MS was in an email from Living with Multiple Sclerosis @ Everyday Health.
My husband refuses to see any Doctors.

I've heard of this with people with Asperger syndrome. Never heard of this before. I'll definitely check out some articles on it.
