Spaciticity in shoulders and upper back?

I'm still in Limbo, initially I started having migraines 7 years ago, tried lots of different meds until finally got Botox about 4 years ago. Migraines were pretty well controlled, but not completely until about 3 months ago only now their different. I would occasionally go in for a massage and physical therapy, they always commented about my shoulders being so tight. I blamed it on stress, although my life is not that stressful. My Nuero has always poo-pood my MS symptoms concerns, even though I have many.

I recently thought I'll bet this shoulder tightness is Spaciticity, I told my Nuero that and he said no that's not Spaciticity.

Im finally seeing an MS Specialist next month. Do you all think this sounds like Spaciticity?

It appears that it is possible, according to this info from the National MS Society about Spasticity:

Treatment of spasticity and muscle tightness by medication and physical and occupational therapy is needed to prevent painful and disabling contractures in the hips, knees, ankles, shoulders and elbows. Surgical measures are considered for those rare cases of spasticity that defy all other treatments.

      Hi Bever,

Without a diagnosis of MS it would be difficult to know if you have spasticity or just muscle tension. Hopefully your upcoming MRIs will shed some light.
