Hi Seasha, I talked to my neuro about flexeril helping my ankle spasms, he said I could try it but didn't think it would help. I just got it filled and was wondering if you take it every day like my script calls for or just when the spasms start?

Hi REG! No, I don't take it every day, but just when I know the spasms are coming on. It's usually at night and I'm just sitting around either here on MSW or reading. I know that it won't go away on it's own and will cause sleepless nights, so I take a small amt.

My script is 10mg - 1/2 to 1 when needed. Honestly, I think I'm really sensitive to this sedative, so I only bite off about a 1/4 or less. Otherwise, I can sleep for 12 hrs. and feel groggy in the am. You will want to try what works for you.

My spasms seem to be cyclical. On for a awhile (week) and then nothing for awhile - for which I'm thankful! Hope it helps you
