I saw a short blip of news about stem cell therapy in Canada, maybe the MS society of Canada . Has anyone seen or heard about these recent developments ? I can't seem to find any other news stories .

Hi Jerry~
Someone just sent me an email about this yesterday. http://notable.ca/canadian-doctors-h...ng-stem-cells/
There's also this from the NMSS-
"Researchers in Canada have published results of a long-term trial of an individuals’ own (autologous) hematopoietic (blood cell-producing) stem cell transplantation. The study involved 24 people with aggressive relapsing-remitting MS whose disease was not controlled with available therapies."

There was a thread here about that Canadian trial here a couple of weeks ago:

My friends on my Facebook account have been sending me info about the stem cell therapy that is performed in Canada and the general take away for me is that the therapy had stopped the progression of MS in 70% of treated patients ! I haven't seen anything more on this . If anyone has anything to add, I'd sure like to hear it !
