Hey all,
I'm new here, and am a "limbo-lander". My doc is pretty adamant I have MS, but I'm awaiting an appointment next week to see an MS neuro specialist!
Just wondering if anyone else experiences this symptom. Whenever I get warm, whether it's outside in the sun or taking a hot shower, or even in too warm of clothes, I get these tingling, prickling sensations all over my body, like a wave that washes over. It's usually in my hands and feet, but sometimes can cover my back and chest, and my head (that's a horrible one!). It's only started happening within the last month or two, and it's driving me crazy! I'm too afraid to wear anything remotely warm just in case I get the tingleys. It's different to the usual pins and needles, as it only lasts a few minutes or so, but they're very intense and quite painful. Could it be some sort of heat intolerance related to MS? Or just another spanner my body is throwing in the works? (hmph). I know I do have a heat intolerance - my vision gets all blurry and I get dizzy if I get overheated, but this is just a pain (literally) on top of everything else!
Thanks
