    MSCOE Feedback Request

I have been contacted by the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence requesting what information would be helpful to our community. Unfortunately, the MSCOE cannot assist in disability claims, independent medical opinions, nexus letters or completing DBQs for MS. What they can do is present information from the health care side including treatments, therapies, etc. If you have any comments or suggestions for the MSCOE please let me know and I will include it.

I am trying to have the response completed by November 17th, 2015.
Thank you for your time and consideration!

I received no information from this request, but did submit information from other sources.

I spent the past 30 minutes with the VA Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence going over a number of veteran's neurology problems. Wow, this lady was not happy with the stories I submitted her. She was FUMING mad. The MSCOE has dedicated a MS Specialist to personally call these neurologists and talk with them about the minimum standard of care for veterans with MS.

They have requested additional information about bad MS experiences and the name of the doctor you were dealing with. They want to personally reach out to these physicians and share some of the love. My contact information is on my profile. If you would prefer to contact the MSCOE directly I can also provide you that information.

    Thank you!!!

      wished ihad seen this sooner.

Was hospitalized twice last year locally before requesting transfer to the SCI/D center in Minneapolis. Fantastic care and got to root of problem. Off pain meds. Walking better. Local MS neurologist here notes that I was not happy with the care I received locally. Social Worker here only question was "Do you want to go home?" But with no discharge planning.
