    Twice Cooked Green Beans

    Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1 teaspoon garlic, minced
    1 Tablespoon onion, minced
    1 pound green beans, cooked
    1 Tablespoon sugar
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1 teaspoon pepper

    Directions
    1 Saute' bacon in skillet just until crisp.
    2 Remove bacon and drain.
    3 Return drippings to skillet.
    4 Add garlic and onion.
    5 Saute' just until golden.
    6 Add green beans.
    7 Saute' until heated.
    8 Add sugar.
    9 Toss to combine.
    10 Add lemon juice and pepper.
    11 Heat through.

    MAKES 6 servings
