    Spicy Peanut Sauce

    Ingredients
    1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
    2 Tablespoons water
    1/4 cup vinegar
    2 Tablespoons sesame oil
    3 Tablespoons soy sauce
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 clove garlic
    1 teaspoon minced ginger root

    Directions
    1 In small saucepan, stir together peanut butter and water.
    2 Cook over low heat, stirring or whisking until smooth.
    3 Stir in vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic, and minced ginger root.
    4 Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
    5 Cool.
    6 Serve peanut sauce over vegetables, meats (beef, chicken, or turkey) and fish.
    7 Or, serve as a dipping sauce for thin strips of cooked meat or poultry nuggets.

    MAKES 1-1/3 cups
