Ingredients
1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut in parts
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup flour
Oil for frying
Directions
1 Combine salt, pepper, and flour in bag.
2 Add a few pieces of chicken at a time to bag and shake to coat.
3 Heat 1/2 inch oil in heavy frying pan over medium heat; add chicken, skin side down.
4 Turn frequently to brown evenly.
5 Cook 40 to 50 minutes or until fork can be inserted in chicken with ease.
6 Drain on paper towel.
