    Honeysuckle Carrots

    Ingredients
    1 pound fresh carrots, peeled, quartered lengthwise and cut into 2-inch sticks
    1/2 cup orange juice
    2 Tablespoons butter OR margarine
    2 Tablespoons honey
    1 Tablespoon cornstarch
    1 Tablespoon water
    1/3 cup chopped pecans

    Directions
    1 Place carrots in 1-1/2-quart round casserole.
    2 Add orange juice, butter, and honey; cover with lid or plastic wrap, venting one side.
    3 Microwave at HIGH 8 to 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
    4 Combine cornstarch with water in 1-cup measure.
    5 Drain liquid from carrots into cornstarch mixture; blend.
    6 Microwave at HIGH 30 seconds, or until mixture thickens.
    7 Pour glaze over carrots and stir in pecans.

    MAKES 4 servings
